This was one of the first ones we organized with my friends back in 1992. It was illegal rave at a squat house with lots of smoke, strobos and black plastic bags on walls as decoration ❤️ ... See MoreSee Less
This very event must have been among my first raves! Vague memories also from 'VR makasiinit' 'Kaapelitehdas' and of course 'Lepakko' - and then later slightly different types of vague memories from Viikki forest, Sammatti full moon easter party, Porvoo forest, Rajasaari, Karhusaari, Karjaa, Porvoo art factory, Lammassaari etc
There were some random parties when I was pre-teen, but I don't have any clear memories of them. Music was probably 90s acid/rave and didn't really hit me. Koneisto in Turku was the first bigger one.
First rave I ever went to was a local event in Winnipeg called Raving in the Ruins. It was held at the Ruins of the Saint Norbert monastery and it was amazing! I had so much fun and one of my brother's friends was one of the DJs.
Club UK in London back in 1993. Still go out clubbing twice a month to this day, it changed my life for the better ❤
Poing clubs @pakkahuone then Warp 9 tullikamari 8.10.1994 (awsome) and some Pety ug parties in random locations made me love raves - seos right before 1995(?) and tons of great parties in 1995, including communion, palace, propulsion, house of house tours, spirit, elements, endless amount of pety afterparties. <3
Used to visit these events in Oranssi, wasnt into the sound yet though, more into punk rock at the time. :D
First forest parties I remember - Keimo Valkonen & co in Viikki 'kolmen tien risteys' early nineties where I also saw 'Kalsari-Guiseppe' from Italy who blew my mind in terms of understanding some people really live the Goa way.
Eliot Ness’ first or second rave at Lepakko 1991, I was helping install the lights and piling up speakers.
First proper night out. Was a fantastic night & I think I danced all night
-88 loppuvuodesta oli Kauppatorin rannassa proomussa ekat raven tapaset. Sit -89 aukes club Berlin...house, aciid, techno & ravemusa räjäytti mun tajunnan. Jokelta ja Käpältä sai tietoa jatkobileissä joita oli Kaapelilla, Lepakossa yms.
Those times awww..we all were so innocent and fucking exited!
1991 changed my life.
2001: Motion in Philadelphia, PA, USA featuring Bad Boy Bill with a host of other performers beforehand who each brought their A-game. We had a great club scene back then.
Just turned 18 never looked back 💙
Nämä oli ekat joissa näin jäbän soittamassa 1993
Planet of Love '95.
Mutta missä on nykyisin Mighty Rubber Boots??
Carl cox vs dave graham 1993 at the pleasure drome Birkenhead 2 miles from liverpool city centre uk aged 14 😁
There was a club at eerikinkatu 3 where club alcatraz is now. No idea who was playing or what was the name of club/ event. Year was propably -96
I was there too, but I guess it wasn’t Oranssi’s first rave at ”Putkinotko”?
So it was not my first rave ever, but one of the firsts 😊
Hello 2020! Thank you so much to everyone who came and raved with us at HELLO2020 in Helsinki, DJ Orion for the back2back set and all the djs who delivered perfect soundtrack for welcoming the New Year 🙌🏻 And extra special thanks to @proteusharri and his trusted crew for superb production 🙏
'Classical Trancelations 3' album is out now! Recorded live in Helsinki at Hartwall Arena with 8500 people in the crowd and over 150 musicians on stage. This was a massive undertaking to imagine, compose, license, record, mix and release and I am very very happy and proud of how Lowland's album sounds and feels like. So much love & respect to each and everyone involved in creating this <3
We are ecstatic for the release of this very special album. ‘Classical Trancelations 3’ brings you gripping orchestral interpretations of some of your favourite electronic music classics. Tracks such as Rank 1’s ‘Airwave’, Chicane’s ‘Saltwater’, Moby’s ‘Porcelain’, Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’, Darude’s ‘Sandstorm’ and Pendulum’s ‘The Island’ have been re-imagined into new emotional pieces, that will move you to your core.
The third album on Armada Music was performed live in Helsinki by Lowland, The Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Ahjo Ensemble and soloists Saara Aalto, Reino Nordin, Kasmir and Marianna, conducted by Eero Lehtimäki. We invite you to relive the pure beauty and power of music through this wonderful album.
