Andy Moor spent last weekend here in Helsinki doing one gig at Extremely Miscbehaving event and working at studio for three days. The result is 90% finished track which I’m personally very happy with. It’s a progressive trance track with a dirty bassline, simple nice melody, emotional chord changes and lots of small details. We’re looking into finishing it during 2009 but it might go to Andy’s forthcoming album which will be out “sometime 2010” so I’m not promising anything regarding the release date.

It was super nice to have him here and I was pleased how smoothly the collaboration went. On ‘YearZero’ we worked remotely from our own studios so it was interesting to see how the work flows in same room but IMO it was smooth from the very beginning. I also learned lots of new tricks and techniques from Andy and was pleased to see him learning few things from me too during the session. This is also one reason why I love doing the collabs as you always learn cool stuff.

We’ll be roadtesting the track on our gigs during the coming months so keep your ears open if you’re into trainspotting:)
